We are a network of individuals who make their skills available to companies, especially SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises).
We support SMEs in their technology development projects. As a close proximity network, RDT is made up of specialists and generalists, covering the whole of Champagne-Ardenne. The Technology Development Network aims to facilitate small business access to the most suitable technological skills required to carry out their projects. It is central to all the technology development and innovation players in Champagne-Ardenne and elsewhere.
The Champagne-Ardenne RDT consists of around 100 members from:
1/ The Technological Service Network (TSN)
This is offered to businesses that are interested in making an innovative approach with a technology partnership, in order to facilitate project development. This assistance is received very quickly and facilitates implementation of technology services which are classified as innovative or increase the level of technology.
Supported by OSEO, this project finances technology pre-studies, feasibility studies, tests, improving a product or a manufacturing process, the purchase of new technology for the business, an initial French patent and much more. The PTR is ceilinged in terms of the amount and level of intervention.
2/ The Technology Placement Network (TPN):
This aims to encourage development of a technology project by supporting students during their training period at the end of their studies (3 months or more).
The two abovementioned tools are managed by the TDN, but the network also guides the businesses towards all the help available to them in Champagne-Ardenne.
Dominique LOUVRIER, Founder and manager of M4 “My home by myself” in Nouzonville (Ardennes)
“In 2004, I picked up a big contract in Italy for the manufacture of 25,000 m2 of reconstituted stone cladding. At thattime, I was working with only one employee. I had to quickly contemplate the growth of my business, go from being a microbusiness to a SME and start hiring. I needed to perfect a production technique for reconstituted stone and find out how to meet this investment. I met a member from the RDT network. He immediately helped me to make the necessary contact with the technical centres and financial bodies.
TDN quickly found the solution to my problem and helped me to acquire the technological skills to implement my new manufacturing line. It dealt with 75% of the service I needed”.
